Sophia Lowe-Hines


Sophia Lowe-Hines is a first-year doctoral student in the Clinical Psychology program at UMass Amherst. She earned her B.S. in Psychology from the University of Washington, Seattle. After completing her undergraduate degree, she spent two years as a Research Assistant in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of Washington and its affiliated hospitals. There, she worked with intracranial electroencephalography (iEEG) to explore basic neuroscience questions and develop tools for clinical and rehabilitative applications. In the Learning Lab, her research interests focus on identifying neuropsychological and neurophysiological factors linked to neuropsychiatric disorders, along with developmental milestones and challenges.
